OJ MATS SERVICES NIG LTD is a limited liability company incorporated in Nigeria under the seal of the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in 2009 for the purpose of providing logistics support for oil and gas and other companies, individuals, and organizations.
The provision of road transport and logistics solutions between West African sub region countries is greatly facilitated by services provided by the private sector. This is especially the case with specialized transport associated with oil and gas and other companies, individuals and organizations operations in many of the countries within the region.
The success of large national and multinational oil & gas companies and other companies, individuals and organizations within West Africa is heavily dependent on transport and logistics solutions for the provision of the required operational materials.
Experienced road transport operators, especially those that deliver a high quality, skilled, niche service is infrequently encountered. One such company is O. J. MATS SERVICES NIG LTD, which has more than 8 yearsā€™ experience in transporting a variety of goods within Nigeria and other west Africa countries.

OJ. MATS SERVICES NIG LTD is a privately owned company with required practical credentials ā€“ both in the Nigeria oil and gas industries and within the West Africa sub region. With humble beginnings in 1995 after the company founder, Ojiegbe, left Trans Ocean drilling company as logistics personnel, the company has grown to become the road cargo transport and logistics solution of choice for most oil majors, marginal field and services companies in Nigeria requiring the inward transport of necessary oil and gas equipment and movements to outside Nigeria within the West Africa sub region.

Our mission is to be a Significant player in the west African transport industry by anticipating and being pro-active to increased demands of clientele and providing cost-effective solutions in transporting goods and to apply the most effective and appropriate logistic domestic support and engineering skills for the highest standard of engineering services under a healthy safe environment using a group of top quality skilled and motivated team.

Our Human Resources

– The owners and Directors of OJMATS have been involved in the transport and automotive industries for many years. Their understanding of both the transport and automotive industries places OJMATS at an advantage in the successful completion of the road transport assignments. This understanding inspires us to ensure that goods are transported timely, safely, and cost-effectively always.

– We always select drivers and staff with great care and ensure that they are legally qualified to drive the various category vehicles and possess the necessary passenger and goods transportation permits

– Our drivers are not only trained to operate the required classes of vehicles but also to understand the importance of customer service and implications thereof on our business. To this end we ensure that our drivers regularly receive training, amongst others, in attitude and behavior training, driver development training, customer relation

Delivery performance and tracking

To ensure the continued delivery of our high quality and prompt services, the following measures are in place:

– Driver performance is continually monitored using project report and mobile surveillance and management tool. Details of each trip are recorded and assessed to ensure the safety of the drivers, vehicles and goods transported were correctly and safely handled during movements

– Delivery times on all routes are strictly monitored

– Monitoring team in our operations offices constantly monitor all vehicles to ensure proper route movement, rest periods etc. These offices communicate with our clients on a regular basis

– All trucks are equipped with mobile phones and can be reached at all times. These measures mean that goods arrive safely and on time, and that as a company we are constantly aware of the whereabouts of our vehicles. In addition, we provide our clients with constant update

Health and safety

We are committed to ensuring that the cargo of our customers reaches all destinations safely and without any setbacks. Similarly, the health and safety of all our employees is very important to us. In this regard, extensive occupational Health and Safety procedures have been implemented, and all Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to. We have implemented a strict Alcohol and Drug Policy, and random checks can be implemented throughout OJMATS on all personnel. A policy of ā€œZero Toleranceā€ is enforced. The company has an CASHES manual complete with rule /practices / regulation.

OJ MATS has a road Transport journey management in place. This is used as a complete road transport logistics HSE manual in safe guiding all material road transportation movement. The index page of this all-important manual is attached below.
